Spectra – Latin for spectrum – is a series about light, color, and the visible world. I began the first works at the end of 2024, but the series truly came to life in early 2025, after returning from Mexico deeply inspired. It was a moment when I wanted to move beyond monochrome and embrace color with intention.
With Spectra, I started taking String Art more seriously as an art form in itself, exploring how far I could push it while reducing the technique to its purest form. Even simpler than in Vias, each work consists of straight lines in different colors, layered to create subtle gradients and shifts in tone.
The concept was my attempt to describe reality through its most fundamental language: light. Just as light contains every visible color, these works hold the entire spectrum, arranged in a way that captures both order and chaos, stillness and movement. It was my way of stepping into a new chapter — brighter, bolder, and more open to what might come next.
